Acquisition Place commands can be programmed to import an image from a scanner or a file.  Any Place command module contained in the Pouch folder is added to the Place command submenu.  Several acquisition plug-in modules are provided with SuperPaint.  For information on creating your own plug-ins, contact Silicon Beach Software, Inc.
